Kitty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has avidly worked with children and families for over 20 years. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in mental health practice with individuals, families, and groups. Kitty has extensive experience in the Los Angeles Unified School District working with at-risk children, adolescents, and young adults. She has also worked outside of school settings addressing the needs of emotionally, physically, and sexually abused children, and with survivors of domestic violence. She has worked collaboratively with child protective services, the County of Los Angeles Probation Department (Juvenile Services), and numerous community service agencies throughout L.A. County to assist and support clients through challenging life situations.

The therapy approach Kitty uses is cognitive-behavioral, and she often incorporates art and play therapy into sessions with her clients. She is a member of the California Association of School Social Workers and the National Association of Social Workers.
