Trennell Palacio, is a Los Angeles-based Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She has been providing counseling services to Los Angeles area school age children, teens, and families since 2012. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling, Pupil Personnel Services Credentials from Loyola Marymount University. In addition, Ms. Palacio holds a Pupil Service and Attendance credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Ms. Palacio has almost two decades of experience, serving in both public and private schools. This included working as a Counselor Coordinator, Behavioral Interventionist, and Designated Instructional Service (DIS) Counselor. Ms. Palacio has counseling experience across a variety of treatment settings that include; school counseling, attendance counseling, mental health clinician, andccommunity based services. Ms. Palacio serves children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups in the following areas:

Ms. Palacio uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered practices. A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind, spirit and body are interconnected. Her theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change.
